JASON MAXWELL - Partner
Jason Maxwell was born and raised on the Maxwell family farm. After graduation Jason worked for a construction company, later founding his own company in 1997. He also worked on the farm in Maxwell where he continues to spend more of his time. Jason is a believer in hard work and doing what you love. Jason’s drive has expanded the livestock sector of the family farm business as well as making him a team member with Intrinsic Ag. Jason and his wife, Kerri, continue to live on the original Maxwell family farm and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
JOHN MAXWELL - Partner
John, a member of the Intrinsic team, was born and raised on a farm near Maxwell Iowa. After graduating high school in 2004, John joined the United States Navy as an F/A18 aircraft mechanic in Lemoore, California. During Johns four-year service, he realized his passion for helping like-minded people achieve their goals. John returned home in 2008 to the Maxwell family business', bringing a different perspective of diversity and innovation to the team. John along with his wife Abby and their four children love the farm and the future it offers for the generations to come.
JASON DUBBERKE - Partner
Jason holds the position of General Manager at Intrinsic Ag. He discovered his passion for agriculture at a young age while riding horses and working cattle on his grandfather’s Central Iowa cow calf operation. Jason graduated from Iowa State University with an agricultural business degree in 2011. After graduation he spent over a decade working for prominent Iowa cooperatives where he merchandised grain, served Iowa’s family farms, and gained great insight into the industry. Jason has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a willingness to learn and innovate, and the desire to bring opportunity and value to Intrinsic’s partners. Jason lives in Ankeny, Iowa with his wife Christina and their daughter Sophia.
BEN BLAIR - Partner
Ben grew up in Northwest Iowa and began his career in agriculture after studying engineering at Iowa State University. Ben currently holds the roll of integrator for a multifaceted agricultural corporation in central Iowa. As a partner in Intrinsic Ag Ben will utilize his forward-looking mindset and data analytics to help evaluate new opportunities and implement policy change. Ben lives in Maxell, IA with his wife Jessica and their three children Braxton, Callen, and Nyla.
KEVIN KRUSCHWITZ - Partner
Kevin grew up on a farm in Grundy County, Iowa. He liked working on the farm growing up and appreciates the opportunity to return to those roots at Intrinsic Ag. His position will be in customer relations and grain origination. He has a degree in Accounting from Iowa State University and a very well-rounded work history that has led to experience in farming, accounting, machinery operation, management, customer relations, trucking and home construction. The last 23 years he has spent time in the modular home business doing general contracting and property management. He enjoyed helping people realize their dream of new home ownership and gained valuable experience in dealing with the public and contractors. When asked he said, “People are the key to any successful business, both within a company and the customers they serve. I look forward to helping our Intrinsic Ag customers achieve their goals and I strive to do the best at every task I’m given, and my faith helps me achieve those goals.”
Kevin has been married 38 years and has 4 children. He enjoys watching his children and grandchildren give 100% in whatever they do.
NOAH WENDT - Partner
Noah grew up near Manchester, IA, a small town in Northeast Iowa. From a very young age Noah had deep ties to production agriculture through 4-H, FFA and being actively involved on relatives and neighbors farms. Upon graduation from West Delaware high school in 1996 Noah proceeded to attend Iowa State University and majored in Ag Business. Noah graduated from Iowa State in 2000 with a major in ag business and a minor in International Ag. After graduating ISU he worked in the industry for Cargill until late 2001. Noah learned several fundamental business skills throughout his experience working with Cargill. However his heart was still in production agriculture. After leaving Cargill he moved on to work for some farmers in Central Iowa and participated in the wheat run throughout Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota for four years. In 2006 Noah started farming together with Caleb Akin, forming A&W Farms. From 2006 to 2015 A & W Farms was able to build a successful farming operation as first generation farmers. In 2015 they decided to begin to aggressively transition from conventional to organic production. Since 2015 Noah and Caleb have transitioned over half of their 3000 acres to organic production. Noah’s passion for caring for the land and providing a safe food supply continues to be the driving force in his organic production. He looks forward to the new business venture and being able to help others transition to organic, come up with production ag opportunities and solutions, market grain more profitably, and all other aspects of organic crop production. Noah is married to Erin Wendt and has two daughters, Harper and Daphne. In his free time, Noah and his wife enjoy attending their daughter’s events, spending time together, running, boating, snowmobiling, and relaxing.
CALEB AKIN – Partner
At a young age Caleb got firsthand experience on dairy and truck farming operations in the New England area. After graduating from Iowa State he partnered with Noah Wendt to form A&W Farms. This partnership is focused on producing organic grain that is beneficially healthy for consumers and the soil. In 2022 A&W contributed in the formation of Intrinsic Ag. This new group will aid in the efficient and effective flow of organic grain from the farm to the end user. Caleb lives on a farm outside of Cambridge, Iowa with his wife Rozann and daughter Adeline.
